Caramelized Onions

Finely slice 5 medium onions using a mandoline or knife
Transfer to a large skillet over medium heat and add ½cup of water
Stir until it starts to caramelize
Add ½cup of water and stir
Add ¼cup of sugar
Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the onions are completely caramelized. The caramelized onions are ready
