Ina Niiniketo is a chef and a cookbook author from Helsinki. Ina recently moved home to Finland after eight years in Stockholm, where she was a mainstay of some of the city’s very best kitchens. Most recently, she was the head chef at The Sparrow Hotel, where Mathias Dahlgren’s acclaimed French bistro is located, and Tak, where she was sous chef to Frida Ronge. Next on the agenda? A first restaurant of her own, back in her hometown, but right now she is working as a private chef and hosting catering and food events. She also does recipe development for food magazines. Ina is passionate about intense flavors and working with the very best seasonal ingredients available. Edible flowers are a regular feature on her imaginative menus, and they also happen to be the protagonist of her cookbook, Flowers On a Plate. Ina’s food is based on a love of timeless Parisian elegance combined with Japanese and Nordic minimalism.
