
Almond Milk

A fresh and delicate non-dairy milk.
Drink as it is, combined with other ingredients, or in food preparations as a substitute for animal milk.
Add 1½ cups of almonds to a container and cover with 400 ml of cool water
Soak the almonds overnight in a cool location to hydrate them. If the temperature is above 24 °C, keep them in the fridge
Drain the almonds and discard the water
Transfer the almonds to a blender
Add 300 ml of cool water and blend on medium-high speed until the almonds are completely ground
Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth into a container. Squeeze to extract all the liquid
Add a pinch of salt and combine. The almond milk is ready
Enjoy it warm, cold or as base of other recipes!
