
Bacon Cheeseburger

A classic burger with the crispy, smoky flavor of bacon.
Chop 2 tbsp of pickled cucumber
Add the chopped cucumber and 2 tbsp of mayonnaise to a bowl
Add 1 tbsp of ketchup and mix to combine
Add 1 tsp of the pickled cucumber brine and mix to combine
Season with salt to taste. The thousand islands dressing is ready
Add 150 g of sliced bacon to a frying pan
Cover with 100 ml of water and place over medium heat
Flip the bacon until both sides are golden and crispy. Remove from the frying pan. The crispy bacon is ready
Slice 1 tomato
Cut 320 g of brisket into medium cubes
Place the meat in a bowl
Cut 320 g chuck into medium cubes
Add the chuck to the brisket and mix by hand
Grind the meat
Divide the meat into 160 g balls
Press to shape the burger
Halve 1 potato bun and spread 1 tsp of butter on each half
Sear the bread
Add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to a heated skillet
Season the patty with salt and black pepper to taste. Place it in the skillet
Press the patty with a grill weight and cook for 3m until seared
Flip the patty and cook with a weight for 2m until seared
Put 2 cheddar slices over the patty and cover with a lid or a burger steamer for 1m until the cheese is melted
Place the patty on the bottom bun and add a slice of tomato
Add 3 slices of bacon and 1 tbsp of pickled cucumber
Add 2 tbsp of the Thousand Islands Dressing. The bacon cheeseburger is ready
