You can also try it over pizza, in soups, or as a base for a dip.
Trim, halve, and peel 3 onions. Cut them into thin half-moon slices
Add 2 tsp of vegetable oil and 3 tbsp of butter to a pan over medium heat and melt it
Add the onions and stir until they start to golden
Add salt to taste and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. The caramelized onions are ready
