Press the remaining dough into a <quantity>4<unit>cm</unit></quantity> thick rectangle and repeat the cutting process until there’s no dough left

Bake the biscuits for 12-15m until they rise and turn golden brown. The biscuits are ready

Preheat the oven to <temperature>425<unit>°C</unit></temperature>

Split the biscuits in half and place them on a baking sheet. Add <quantity>2</quantity> thin country ham slices on the bottom of each

Add <quantity>¼<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of grated cheddar cheese on top of the ham

Close with the top and bake for 5m to melt the cheese

Transfer to a serving plate and spread <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of fig jam on the inside of each biscuit top. Close the biscuits
