Cucumber Gin Sour
A delightful option for sour cocktail lovers who like fresh flavors. If you want those amazing garden party notes to your cocktail, this is your go to drink! The egg white makes the cocktail smoother and more fluffy, but is completely optional. You can also use aquafina or other foamy substitutes.
Add <quantity>300<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of water to a pot. Bring to a boil over high heat
Add <quantity>300<unit>g</unit></quantity> of white sugar to a jar
Add the boiled water
Mix until the sugar is completely dissolved
Pour the syrup into a bottle with a lid. The sugar syrup is ready
Cut <quantity>3</quantity> large slices pieces from <quantity>1</quantity> cucumber
Muddle the slices in a shaker
Add <quantity>20<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of lemon juice to the shaker
Add <quantity>20<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of the sugar syrup and <quantity>50<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of gin
Add the white from <quantity>1</quantity> egg
Fill the shaker with ice cubes
Shake hard for 30s
Double strain into a double old fashioned glass
Peel the cucumber lengthwise and make a roll with a slice
