Green Herb Syrup
5m
Just what you need to give your drinks an extra herbal flavor and aroma. This is a basic syrup recipe that we apply to most of our herb syrups.
Note that ascorbic acid is key here, as it keeps the color bright and shiny.
You can use any herbs you like. Basil, dill, tarragon, and mint are great options!
Place 20 g of fresh coriander leaves, 1 tbsp of ascorbic acid, and 500 g of white sugar in a jug
Add 500 ml of room temperature water and blend until the sugar is completely dissolved
Strain the syrup
Pass through a cheesecloth. The green herb syrup is ready
Store in a bottle and use it to give an herbal touch to your drinks. Enjoy!
