Just what you need to give your drinks an extra herbal flavor and aroma. This is a basic syrup recipe that we apply to most of our herb syrups. Note that ascorbic acid is key here, as it keeps the color bright and shiny. You can use any herbs you like. Basil, dill, tarragon, and mint are great options!
Place 20g of fresh coriander leaves, 1tbsp of ascorbic acid, and 500g of white sugar in a jug
Add 500ml of room temperature water and blend until the sugar is completely dissolved
Strain the syrup
Pass through a cheesecloth. The coriander syrup is ready
Store in a bottle and use it to give an herbal touch to your drinks. Enjoy!
