Add 1 egg yolk to a large bowl
Add 1 tbsp of dijon mustard and 1 tbsp of vinegar
Whisk to combine. Add 1 cup of vegetable oil in a thin stream while whisking until smooth and creamy
Add salt to taste and mix to combine. The mayonnaise is ready
