Old Fashioned
The Old-Fashioned is one of the great pillars of cocktail history. Every bar has its own choice of bourbon or its personal choice when making it. We have a special ingredient that we use in our version which is the Coconut Water Syrup. The coconut won’t add any flavor, but it offers something far more crucial: viscosity and salinity, which will elevate your cocktail to a whole new level.
Add <quantity>500<unit>g</unit></quantity> of sugar and <quantity>500<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of coconut water to a large recipient
Blend everything with a hand blender until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is homogeneous. The coconut water syrup is ready
Add <quantity>60<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of bourbon and <quantity>1<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of the Coconut Water Syrup to a mixing cup
Add <quantity>2<unit>dashes</unit></quantity> of Angostura bitters and <quantity>1<unit>dash</unit></quantity> of orange bitters
Add <quantity>1<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of ice cubes and stir for 35s
Strain into a tumbler glass with <quantity>½<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of clear ice and express an orange peel coin over the drink. Garnish with the peel. The old fashioned is ready
Cheers!
