Papaya & Mango Salad
A fresh and citric salad that lasts a long time in the refrigerator and pairs well with various dishes, such as grain bowls, roasted vegetables, chicken, and meat.
If you want to give the salad a sweet kick, try adding another mango that is almost ripe.
Peel and trim 1 large unripe papaya
Cut it in half lengthwise
Deseed both halves with the help of a spoon
Thinly slice the papaya with a peeler and add it to a bowl
Peel 1 large unripe mango and add it to the bowl
Thinly slice it with a peeler
Add the juice of 3 limes
Add salt to taste and mix to combine
Deseed 1 chili pepper, finely chop it, and add it to the bowl. Add thyme to taste
Add extra virgin olive oil to taste and mix to combine. The papaya & mango salad is ready
Enjoy it on its own or as a side for your favorite dish!
