
Pineapple and Sage Syrup

A pineapple syrup with a hint of sage to amp up your drinks!
I enjoy pineapple very much, and the combination with sage was inspired by a drink I had in Manhattan.
Add 2½ cups of sugar and 2½ cups of water to a large pot over medium heat. Stir to dissolve
Add ½ bunch of sage leaves
Add 2 cups of diced pineapple. Bring it to a simmer and cook for 5m to soften the pineapple
Turn off the heat and remove the sage leaves
Blend until smooth
Strain through a fine mesh sieve
Transfer to a glass bottle and keep it refrigerated. The pineapple and sage syrup is ready
Use it to amp up your cocktails!
