This cocktail is a bright and refreshing with a burst of citrus. The perfect summer afternoon cocktail!
It show cases the floral aspect of "The Plum, I suppose", a spirit very dear to me as i spent a lot of time working on it's development.
Peel 2 bergamot to obtain 50 g of bergamot rind
Transfer bergamot rind to a glass jar
Add 75 g of sugar
Add 500 ml of vodka
Stir until sugar dissolves
Cover and infuse 24h to extract bergamot aroma
Strain into glass bottle. The Bergamot Liqueur is ready
Add 30 ml of the The Plum, I suppose into a highball glass
Add 10 ml of bergamot liqueur
Add 10 ml of dry vermouth
Add ยฝ tsp of orange bitters
Add 3 rock ice cubes. Stir until liquids are chilled
Add 70 ml of tonic water. Stir to combine
Peel 1 orange
Squeeze and rub peel around glass
Enjoy!
