Preserved Rose Petals
These preserved rose petals with sugar are the perfect filling for doughnuts or bread!
This recipe is also great for finishing pies and cakes, giving them an aromatic touch.
You can try using different types and different colors of roses.
Preserved Rose Petals are used in Ukraine for Christmas; eat them with butter and pampuhi, Ukrainian doughnuts.
Remove the petals from 200 g of mixed roses
Grind the petals with 200 g of sugar, little by little, in a mortar and pestle, until a paste is formed
Transfer the paste to a clean container and store in the refrigerator. The preserved rose petals are ready. Enjoy!
