Tomato & Garlic Bruschetta

This recipe of Tomato & Garlic Bruschetta is simple and delicious, and it works for cocktail and dinner parties, game nights, brunches, and many other occasions. It can be paired with cocktails and wine, and also be topped with some fresh ricotta cheese.
Chop 5 cherry tomatoes
Trim and peel 1 garlic clove
Cut 1 slice of sourdough bread
Drizzle extra virgin olive oil to taste on a frying pan and let it heat. Grill one side of the bread slice until crispy and golden brown
Rub the garlic clove against the bread slice, coating it evenly
Arrange the cherry tomatoes on top of the bread
Season with salt and extra virgin olive oil to taste
Tear some fresh basil leaves by hand and place them on top of the tomatoes
