Touch is a thirst-quenching scotch and soda cocktail with notes of rhubarb, light baking spice, and bitter orange. It pairs well with grilled meats, nuts, and different types of cheese like aged cheddar or gouda.
"Touch" is a reference to the original Spice Girl's name, when they had different band members. Things changed, they lost touch, but I think we shouldn’t lose touch... with the original name.
Bring ½ cup of water to a boil in a small pot
Add 10 g of citric acid powder and stir to dissolve
Let it cool and store it in a glass bottle. The citric acid solution is ready
Add 2 dashes of the citric acid solution and 1 tsp of rhubarb liqueur into a wine glass
Add 30 ml of Cocchi Americano and ¼ fl oz of Old Tom Gin
Add ¾ fl oz of single malt scotch or blended scotch. Fill the glass with ice
Top with approximately 118 ml of club soda
Peel a grapefruit twist and express it over the cocktail. Garnish the glass with it. The touch is ready
