Wafu Dressing
A creamy Japanese dressing to use for any salad. This recipe is also great with thinly sliced cabbage for a quick coleslaw side dish. If you want to make your own mayonnaise at home, look for Chef Daniel Burns' two-minute mayonnaise recipe here at CREME.
Add <quantity>1<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of mayonnaise to a mixing bowl
Add <quantity>3<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of rice wine vinegar and <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of shirodashi
Mix to combine
Add <quantity>1<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of soy sauce and <quantity>1<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of dijon mustard
Add <quantity>½<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of togarashi and <quantity>½<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of black pepper. Mix to combine
Add the juice of <quantity>½</quantity> lime and mix to combine
Add salt to taste and whisk to combine. The wafu dressing is ready
