Coriander Syrup
Just what you need to give your drinks an extra herbal flavor and aroma. This is a basic syrup recipe that we apply to most of our herb syrups. Note that ascorbic acid is key here, as it keeps the color bright and shiny. You can use any herbs you like. Basil, dill, tarragon, and mint are great options!
Place <quantity>20<unit>g</unit></quantity> of fresh coriander leaves, <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of ascorbic acid, and <quantity>500<unit>g</unit></quantity> of white sugar in a jug
Add <quantity>500<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of room temperature water and blend until the sugar is completely dissolved
Strain the syrup
Pass through a cheesecloth. The coriander syrup is ready
Store in a bottle and use it to give an herbal touch to your drinks. Enjoy!
