All-Purpose Flour Glue
5m
The All-Purpose Flour Glue is a simple and extremely versatile recipe, as it can be used for closing various baked and fried goods such as pies and galettes.
It can also be used as a thickener for sauces, gravies, and soups; as a binder for meatloaves and meatballs; or as a coating for fried foods, such as chicken or fish, creating a crispy and golden brown crust.
You can replace the all-purpose flour with gluten-free flours such as almond flour or oat flour.
This recipe was mainly made to help holding Mexican flautas close once they're rolled with the filling. It helps reduce waste by avoiding closing the flautas with a toothpick.
