Add <quantity>830<unit>g</unit></quantity> of shredded danbo cheese and <quantity>830<unit>g</unit></quantity> of shredded cheddar cheese. Whisk over low heat until elastic and homogeneous

Transfer while still hot to a loaf pan covered with cling film. Tap the pan against the counter to eliminate air bubbles

Refrigerate to obtain a solid block of cheese. Remove the loaf pan and the cling film

Finely slice it. The American cheese is ready
