Apple Tart
This creamy twist on a classic French Apple Tart is the perfect dessert to share with friends. Easy to make and best enjoyed with a scoop of ice cream and a freshly brewed coffee, it’s a delightful way to end any dinner.
Preheat the oven to <temperature>180<unit>°C</unit></temperature>
Add <quantity>3<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of room temperature butter and <quantity>1<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of caster sugar to a bowl
Whip with a hand mixer until you get a pale cream
Add <quantity>2</quantity> eggs, whipping after each addition, until incorporated and curdled
Add <quantity>1<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of vanilla extract and <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of apple juice and mix to combine. Set aside
Peel <quantity>2</quantity> apples
Remove the core and dice them
Transfer to a container and add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of all-purpose flour. Toss to coat the apples
Add <quantity>2<unit>cups</unit></quantity> of all-purpose flour, <quantity>1<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of baking powder and a pinch of salt to the reserved batter
Mix until everything is well incorporated
Add the apples to the batter and mix to incorporate
Line a springform cake pan with parchment paper, add the batter, and spread it
Sprinkle caster sugar on top
Bake for about 40m until golden brown
Let the tart cool and unmold it. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top. The apple tart is ready
