This skill will teach you how you cook artichoke, an ingredient that people usually don’t know how to manipulate. It’s a very simple technique that will help you prepare your artichokes for a wide array of dishes or to eat them on their own with just some olive oil and black pepper!

Here, a cartouche is used to cook the artichokes. It's a specific parchment paper folding that will allow the food to cook more evenly. If you don’t know how to make one, it can easily be replaced with a regular lid.

  • Fill a pan with water and add the peels from 1 lemon

  • Add 2 cleaned artichokes to the pan

  • Cover the pot with a cartouche or a lid and cook over medium heat for 10m until al dente. The artichokes are cooked
