Berry Cobbler
A dessert that is tasty and easy to execute. The brown butter adds a lovely richness and the crispy crust gives it a wonderful contrast in texture to the gooey filling. You can replace the blueberries with your favorite berry or stone fruit to add your own flair and twist.
Preheat oven to <temperature>350<unit>°F</unit></temperature>
Add <quantity>400<unit>g</unit></quantity> of white sugar and <quantity>280<unit>g</unit></quantity> of all-purpose flour to a mixing bowl
Add <quantity>25<unit>g</unit></quantity> of baking powder and whisk to incorporate
Add <quantity>1½<unit>cups</unit></quantity> of whole milk and whisk together to form a smooth batter
Melt <quantity>125<unit>g</unit></quantity> of unsalted butter, cut into chunks, in pan over high heat. Whisk until the foam bubbles are small and the butter is brown. Transfer to a bowl
Pour the brown butter into the bottom of a heavy baking pan or large cast iron skillet
Add <quantity>2½<unit>cups</unit></quantity> of blueberries in an even layer
Pour the batter over the blueberries
Use a spatula to spread the batter evenly across the top
Sprinkle <quantity>2<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of brown sugar on top of the batter
Sprinkle <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of cinnamon on top of the batter
Bake the cobbler on a sheet pan in the middle rack for 40m until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool
Spoon some cobbler into small serving bowls. The berry cobbler is ready
