Blackberry Compote
A fresh blackberry compote that has both tanginess and sweetness. The addition of herbs really kicks it to the next level. This versatile technique can be used to create quick jams for charcuterie boards, breads, biscuits, pancakes, or waffles.
Add <quantity>3<unit>cups</unit></quantity> of blackberry and the zest of <quantity>1</quantity> lemon to a saucepan
Add the juice of <quantity>1</quantity> lemon. Strain to remove the seeds
