A holiday recipe for little kids and for the grown-ups as well ;) This is a gourmet dough full of flavors!

This recipe is for the dough of coxinha, a chicken croquette that is found at every children's party in Brazil. Although it is typically stuffed with shredded chicken, you can use any of your favorite ingredients. It is a truly a unanimous recipe!

  • Add 500 ml of milk to a saucepan over medium heat

  • Add 50 g of butter

    Step 1
  • Add 1 tbsp of turmeric and 1 tbsp of paprika

    Step 2
  • Add 1 tbsp of salt and mix. Bring to a boil

    Step 3
  • Add 500 g of all-purpose flour. Mix with a wooden spoon to slightly incorporate it. Remove from the heat and continue to mix until the flour is mostly absorbed

  • Sprinkle a work surface with flour and place the dough on it

  • Knead the dough until you can form a smooth and pliable ball with it

    Step 6
  • Wrap in cling film and rest at room temperature for 1h to soften. The Brazilian snack dough is ready to use

  • Enjoy! You can use this dough to make coxinhas or add any stuffing you want.
