Cookie Pie Crust
This is a classic graham cracker crust recipe, with some visual tips on how to press it into the pie pan for the best results.
At The American Pie Company, cookie crusts of all types are used for the pies, such as the Key Lime Pie, Cheesecakes, and the infamous S’mores Chocolate and Toasted Marshmallow Pie.
Place 200 g of graham crackers in a food processor
Grind the crackers into a fine crumb mixture
Transfer the crumbles to a medium bowl. Add ¼ cup of white sugar and 80 g of melted butter
Stir together until everything is combined
Pour the cookie mixture into a 24 cm pie tin. Make a well to distribute evenly
Press evenly onto the bottom and up the sides so you have the same thickness all around
The cookie pie crust is ready
