Fettuccine with Sausage Ragu

Add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of vegetable oil and <quantity>1½<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of cubed bacon to a pot over medium-high heat. Cook until the bacon starts to golden
Add the meat from <quantity>3</quantity> uncased Italian sausages and stir to combine
Add <quantity>½<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of minced garlic and stir until slightly golden
Add <quantity>½<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of chopped rosemary and <quantity>1<unit>can</unit></quantity> of tomatoes. Lower the heat, cover and cook for 15m to thoroughly cook the sausage and set the flavors
Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil. Add salt to taste
Add <quantity>400<unit>g</unit></quantity> of fettuccine and cook according to the manufacturer’s instruction until al dente
Add salt and black pepper to taste to the ragu. The sausage ragu is ready
Drain and plate the pasta
