Fried Mushrooms
Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these mushrooms are a delicious and convenient appetizer. Great to pair with a beer or light cocktails, such as a Tom Collins or a Mojito. Invite your friends and enjoy!
Peel and grate <quantity>1</quantity> thumb of ginger
Add <quantity>200<unit>g</unit></quantity> of oyster mushroom, <quantity>1½<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of soy sauce, and <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of mirin to a bowl
Add the ginger and mix to combine
Toss to combine all the ingriedients
Add <quantity>1<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of all-purpose flour to a bowl. Add the mushroom in batches and mix to coat them completely
Cover the bottom third of a pot with vegetable oil and preheat over medium heat. Fry mushrooms in batches until golden brown
Drain the mushrooms in a tray lined with paper towels and plate them
Serve with a lemon wedge and mayonnaise to taste. The fried mushrooms are ready
