Fried Roll
This base is made with a very popular product in Brazil, pastel dough, but it can easily be adapted. Puff pastry sheets are perfect for this. You can fill them with savory or sweet fillings!
Cut <quantity>250<unit>g</unit></quantity> of pastel dough into about <quantity>3<unit>cm</unit></quantity> wide strips
Wrap each strip around small horn molds, starting at the tip and overlapping the edges. Dampen the end with water and press it over the wrapped strip to seal
Fry the pastry cones in preheated oil over medium-high heat until golden brown. Drain and let them cool until you can handle
Allow to cool
Remove the molds. The fried roll is ready. Enjoy!
