A crispy cookie with a buttery and slightly sweet flavor—a delicious classic from the world of pastry. Traditionally used as a base for cakes such as cheesecake, it's also delicious on its own. Try topping it with lemon curd or a creamy cheese spread and you won't regret it!
Add 185g of all-purpose flour and 90g of brown sugar to a bowl
Add 2g of salt and 3g of baking soda. Stir to combine
Add 50g of room temperature butter
Add 50g of molasses and stir until well incorporated
Add 35ml of milk and combine until you get a wet sand texture
Knead the dough to form a smooth ball
Roll out the dough on a silicone mat or a plastic bag until ½cm thick. Transfer the mat to a cutting board and refrigerate for at least 30m until firm
Preheat the oven to 160°C
Cut the dough with biscuit cutters and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake them for 20m until golden brown. The graham crackers are ready
Enjoy them with a nice cup of milk or tea!
