Grilled Cheese
They say less is more. This sandwich is no different: two slices of quality bread (preferably sourdough), filled with delicious cheese and grilled in a cast-iron skillet with plenty of butter. It is as good—and as easy—as it sounds. Let's melt down with this recipe!
Preheat a cast-iron skillet
Spread butter to taste on one side of a thick sourdough bread slice. Place it on the skillet
Place a handful of grated mozzarella cheese and grated comté cheese on top of the bread. Lower the heat
Spread butter on another slice of bread. Place it over the cheese, with the butter side up. Flip the sandwich
Toast until golden brown
Cover with a lid so the cheese melts entirely
Season whit flaky salt to taste. The grilled cheese is ready
Enjoy it while it's hot!
