Ketchup
Homemade ketchup without any added preservatives and artificial flavors is a perfect alternative to store-bought ketchup! Pair it with crispy potato wedges, tender fish sticks, or your favorite sandwich.
Smash and finely chop <quantity>1</quantity> garlic clove
Remove the core and chop <quantity>1</quantity> small red bell pepper
Cut <quantity>1<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of cherry tomatoes in half
Add <quantity>4<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of extra virgin olive oil and the garlic to a small saucepan over low heat
Add the red bell pepper and cover the pan for 1m to sweat it
Add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of red pepper flakes. Stir and cover for 1m
Add the cherry tomatoes and season with salt to taste. Cook until the cherry tomatoes are mushy
Transfer to a tall container
Add <quantity>½<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of xanthan gum and blend on high speed until smooth
Add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of corn syrup and blend until combined. The ketchup is ready
