Lemongrass Tea is a delicious herbal tea that can be enjoyed warm or cold. It can also be used on cocktails and refreshers. It is very simple to make and, if you want to drink it cold, it can be kept in the fridge for a couple of days.
This is a great tea for drinking at any time of the day, but it is especially great for breakfast or an afternoon tea, followed by snacks such as toasted bread or cake, as it pairs with pretty much anything.
In this recipe, we use the lemongrass leaves, as they have a milder flavor.
Add 1 L of water and 70 g of lemongrass to a pan over medium heat. Use a spoon to submerge the leaves into the water
Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for 10m to infuse the flavors. Remove from heat
Transfer the liquid to a bottle and discard the leaves. The lemongrass tea is ready
Enjoy! It can be served warm or cold, as both ways are delicious!
