Linguine Surf & Turf
Linguine Surf & Turf is a plate where the ocean meets the farm for a tasty tango. Tender squid, octopus, and fatty bacon dance together on a bed of al dente linguine drizzled with a garlicky butter sauce. It’s a perfect bite of land and sea, swirling together in every twirl of the fork, making your taste buds do a happy little jig!
Fill a pot with water and season with abundant salt. Bring to a boil
Slice <quantity>1</quantity> precooked octopus tentacle
Slice <quantity>1</quantity> clean squid
Halve <quantity>¼<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of cherry tomatoes
Cook <quantity>100<unit>g</unit></quantity> of linguine in the salted boiling water following the package instructions
Drizzle a frying pan with vegetable oil and add <quantity>2<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of diced bacon. Fry the bacon until the fat is released and the bacon is crisp and golden
Add the sliced octopus, <quantity>6</quantity> shelled shrimps, and the sliced squid
Season to taste with smoked paprika, hot paprika, and salt. Toss to evenly season
Add <quantity>½<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of butter and sautée until it melts
Add the tomatoes and the cooked linguine. Sautée to combine
Add chopped parsley to taste and sautée
