Orange Peel Syrup
This syrup is perfect for finishing baking goods, giving them a nice shiny look while adding another layer of flavor.
Add <quantity>300<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of water and <quantity>400<unit>g</unit></quantity> of sugar to a medium pot and whisk to start dissolving the sugar
Add <quantity>1</quantity> cinnamon stick and a large piece of peel from <quantity>1</quantity> orange
Cook on low heat until the sugar dissolves and little bubbles appear on the surface. Don't let it boil. The orange peel syrup is ready
