Pea Cream
Delicious Pea Cream with a hint of onion. Perfect to eat as a meal accompanied by bread on a cold day or to serve as an appetizer at a special dinner.
Preheat a cast iron skillet with <quantity>2<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of vegetable oil on the oven turned on to the highest temperature
Peel and dice <quantity>½</quantity> of a onion
Add the onions and <quantity>2¼<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of frozen green peas to the skillet
Add extra virgin olive oil, black pepper, and salt to taste
Place it in the oven until the peas are soft and golden
Add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of butter
Add <quantity>¾<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of milk and stir until the butter is melted and incorpored
Transfer to a container and blend with a hand blender until smooth. The pea cream is ready
