Road Not Taken
This might be one of the most famous cocktails I have ever created. It is a truly liquid candy sour with a nice dry and bitter twist from the Aperol. Taste it and fall in love with it! The egg white makes the cocktail smoother, but it's completely optional.
Squeeze <quantity>20<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of lime juice into a cocktail shaker
Add <quantity>20<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of grenadine syrup and <quantity>20<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of Aperol
Add <quantity>30<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of gin and <quantity>4<unit>dashes</unit></quantity> of Peychaud’s bitter
Stir to combine everything
Add <quantity>½</quantity> egg white
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and close it
Shake it vigorously until thoroughly chilled
Strain the mixture into a glass
Fill it with ice cubes
Cut <quantity>2</quantity> lime slices and place them on the edge of the glass
