Rose & Marigold Salt
Seasoning your salad greens just got more flavorful with this Rose & Marigold Salt. Make better use of your unused pantry ingredients and use this as a finishing salt for any dishes that need more flavor.
Pluck 15 g fresh marigolds onto a tray
Add the petals and sepals of 15 g fresh roses
Add 5 citrus leaves
Leave it to dry under sunlight or in a dehydrator for 2h30m. In the meantime, follow the next steps
Remove the pulp of ½ lime and reserve the peels
Add 60 g of salt and 4 g of capers
Add the lime peels and 10 g of fresh black peppercorn
Leave it to dry under sunlight or in a dehydrator for 2h30m
Transfer everything to a blender and pulse blend. The rose & marigold salt is ready
Store in a jar and use it as a seasoning!
