Salmon Tartare
An easy and surprising recipe that requires no special knowledge or tools. Even with the ingredients, you can just pick and choose what you have in your fridge. Colorful and tasty, this Salmon Tartare makes a great appetizer or smaller main dish!
Squeeze the juice of <quantity>½</quantity> lemon
Add <quantity>½<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of heavy cream and the lemon juice to a bowl
Add dried dill and salt to taste
Mix to combine all the ingredients. The sour cream is ready
Cut <quantity>1</quantity> small salmon fillet into medium cubes
Peel and cut <quantity>1</quantity> avocado into medium cubes
Cut <quantity>½</quantity> mango into medium cubes
Remove the core from <quantity>1</quantity> cucumber and cut into medium cubes
Trim, peel and small dice <quantity>½</quantity> red onion
Use a tall pastry cutter or a plastic cup with the bottom cut off to plate the tartare. Add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of the mangoes and adjust until it is flat
Add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of the cucumber and <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of the salmon
Add <quantity>1<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of the avocado and <quantity>2<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of the red onion
Top with <quantity>2<unit>tsp</unit></quantity> of the Sour Cream and remove the mold. The salmon tartare is ready
Garnish with dried dill or the herbs of your preference. Enjoy!
