Salted Caramel Sauce
A silky smooth caramel sauce with a touch of salt. It's the perfect topping for your ice cream or brownies, and you can make it at home with ease. Enjoy it any way you like!
Add ½ cup of white sugar to a medium saucepan
Add ½ cup of heavy cream to a small saucepan
Melt the sugar over medium heat. Use a wodden spoon to stir carefully until the sugar is completely caramelized. At the same time, warm the heavy cream over low heat
Lower the heat on the melted sugar. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly
Cut 2½ tbsp of room temperature butter in cubes
Remove from the heat and add the butter cubes. Mix until well incorporated
Strain the caramel through a sieve
Add 1 pinch of flaky salt, mix and transfer to a sterilized jar. The salted caramel is ready
Use it in your favorite desserts!
