Shiso Lemonade

This is a super easy-to-make and delicious recipe that is ideal for sharing with friends at a barbecue.
The base cordial is also great to pair with other mixers, such as ginger ale or ginger beer!

Ran Van Ongevalle
Place 35g of green shiso leaves in a jug and add 150g of white sugar
Add 12g of citric acid and ½tsp of ascorbic acid
Add 500ml of room temperature water and blend
Strain through a cheesecloth. The green shiso cordial is ready
Fill a highball glass with ice, add 50ml of the Green Shiso Cordial and top with club soda
Gently stir and garnish with a lime wedge. The shiso lemonade is ready
