This is a super easy-to-make and delicious recipe that is ideal for sharing with friends at a barbecue.
The base cordial is also great to pair with other mixers, such as ginger ale or ginger beer!
Place 35 g of green shiso leaves in a jug and add 150 g of white sugar
Add 12 g of citric acid and ½ tsp of ascorbic acid
Add 500 ml of room temperature water and blend
Strain through a cheesecloth. The green shiso cordial is ready
Fill a highball glass with ice, add 50 ml of the Green Shiso Cordial and top with club soda
Gently stir and garnish with a lime wedge. The shiso lemonade is ready
