Simple syrup is one of the most common sweeteners used in cocktail making throughout much of the world.
Add 1 kg of sugar to a pan on low heat
Add 600 ml of water immediately. Stir until the sugar is dissolved
Blend the mixture, while still hot, on low speed for 2m to avoid crystallization
Transfer to a bottle. The simple syrup is ready
Enjoy it cold in a cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage
