Sour Cherry Filling
This filling is perfect for a variety of desserts!
It can be used to fill pies, tarts, turnovers, cakes, and pastries.
Place 70 g of white sugar and 40 g of cornstarch in a bowl. Mix
Add 300 g of defrosted sour cherries. Mix to combine and let it rest for 20m to marinate
Strain the cherries liquid into a saucepan over medium-low heat
Cook and mix constantly until it thickens. Remove from heat
Add the drained cherries and mix to meld together. The sour cherry filling is ready
Use it as a filling or simply spread it on some toast. Enjoy!
