12h 30m
Soy Milk is a plant-based milk made from soybeans and water! It is a great non-dairy alternative to cow’s milk.
Soy Milk has a creamy texture and a nutty flavor, and it can be used in many recipes! It works perfectly for smoothies, cereal bowls, soups, sauces, coffees and teas, among many other preparations!
Add 250 g of dried soybeans to a bowl and cover it with water. Let it soak overnight to hydrate
Strain the hydrated soybeans. Discard the water and rinse the beans under flowing water
Add 1.5 L of water and the soybeans to a bowl. Mix with a hand mixer until smooth
Strain the mixture into a pan and discard the residues left in the fine mesh sieve
Bring the milk to a boil over medium heat, and turn the heat down to low. Simmer for 5-10m, while constantly stirring. Turn off the heat and let the milk cool down before bottling
The soy milk is ready! Enjoy!
