Spiced and roasted beef tenderloin, thinly sliced to start your next dinner party! It is delicious as a starter, with good bread or focaccia.
Add 1 tbsp of coriander seeds to a mortar and pestle
Add 1 tbsp of curry powder
Add 1 tsp of smoked paprika
Coarsely grind spices
Add salt to taste
Finely grind spice mix
Season 200 g of beef tenderloin with spice mix
Wrap spiced file mignon in cling film. Refrigerate 30m to infuse spices
Drizzle 2 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat
Sear all sides of spiced beef tenderloin until golden brown
Refrigerate for 30m until chilled enough to slice
Thinly slice the chilled beef tenderloin
Arrange the slices on a serving plate. It's ready!
