Steak Tartare Dressing
The Steak Tartare Dressing, as the name says, is perfect for whenever you’re craving some tartare but don’t know how to season it! This recipe is inspired by the classic steak tartare dressing where the raw beef is marinaded in a sweet/sour/salty dressing to counter the richness of the raw meat. This version adds an umami kick with the use of worcestershire sauce.
Add <quantity>¼<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of mayonnaise to a bowl
Add <quantity>¼<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of dijon mustard
Add <quantity>⅔<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of ketchup
Add <quantity>3<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of vegetable oil
Add <quantity>2<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of extra virgin olive oil
Add <quantity>2½<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of worcestershire sauce. Add <quantity>2½<unit>tbsp</unit></quantity> of whiskey
Add tabasco sauce to taste
Whisk until all ingredients are incorporated. The steak tartare dressing is ready
