Toasted Lime Peel Syrup

Transfer the lime pomaces to a roasting pan lined with parchment paper
Toast the lime pomace for around 45m until slightly dried and fragrant
Add the toasted lime pomaces to a medium saucepan
Add <quantity>350<unit>g</unit></quantity> of sugar
Add <quantity>300<unit>ml</unit></quantity> of water
Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 10m, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved
Strain the syrup
Transfer to a glass bottle and keep refrigerated. The toasted lime peel syrup is ready
