Deep Fried Mollet Egg
This Deep Fried Mollet Egg is definitely a recipe to upgrade your egg game, and it’s just amazing! After fried, the egg can be served in different ways, such as on a toast, on top of some pasta or a salad, or even eaten on its own as a snack with your favorite condiment! Mollet eggs are perfect soft boiled eggs, with a consistency similar to a poached egg, but cooked while still inside the shell.
Fill a pan with water and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat
Prepare an ice bath
Gently add <quantity>2</quantity> eggs into the boiling water with the help of a spoon. Cook for 5m until they perfectly soft boiled
Remove the eggs from the boiling water and transfer them immediately to the ice bath. Let them cool down for at least 2m to help peeling them

Roll each mollet egg into the seasoned flour until they are completely coated in it. Dip them in the egg mix to form an even layer around them
Transfer the mollet egg to a bowl with <quantity>½<unit>cup</unit></quantity> of panko and roll it until it is fully coated. Repeat with the other mollet egg
Fill a small pan halfway with vegetable oil and let it warm up over high heat
Once the vegetable oil is really hot, fry the mollet eggs until crispy and golden brown. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. The deep fried mollet eggs are ready
