Sweet, salty, and just a hint of spicy, this butter will be your new best friend.

Delicious on its own. Perfect with buttermilk biscuits, on toast, or dropped into a hot pan to baste fish.

Whipped butter is a Southern classic! You'll find variations of this dish all over the American South.

  • Fill a large bowl with 6 cups of ice cubes and 1 L of water

  • Melt 454 g of unsalted butter on a saucepan until completely liquid

    Step 1
  • Place a smaller bowl in the ice bath and add the melted butter. Whisk until the butter begins to cling to the sides of the bowl

  • Add flaky salt to taste and ¼ cup of warm honey

    Step 3
  • Whisk while scraping the bottom of the bowl to aerate and cool the butter

    Step 4
  • Continue whisking until it thickens and turns pale in color. The whipped honey butter is ready

  • Spread it on top of whatever you want. Enjoy!
